Government Management and Use of Data

Data held by government is a public asset.

Paul Stone, Leader of the New Zealand Open Government Data Programme discussed issues around the expectations for the public service managing data, clarified the differences between sharing and opening data and the ways in which data is and can be used and reused.

Due to high levels of interest in this seminar, Paul agreed to ran a second seminar on Thursday 18 April 2019.
