Managing Information into the Future with Richard Foy

How do we keep pace managing information through a digital evolution? How do the Public Records Act, The Privacy Act and Official Information Act factor in our record keeping? How do we get to a place where information managed by the government for New Zealanders, can be accessed and used in new ways for the benefit of all New Zealanders?

These were the big questions, Richard Foy, Chief Archivist and General Manager of Archives New Zealand addressed through a journey of historical incidences and legal material, masterfully inter-woven with a moving personal experience of archival information and it's national and personal importance.
