New Professionals - Data in Diversity

The Auckland New Professionals hosted this fascinating event, discussing the importance of measuring diversity in large organisations. 

The speakers, all Auckland based diversity champions - Mei Chen, Managing Partner, Chen Palmer and BNZ Board Member, Thomas Pippos, Chairman Deloitte NZ, and Minister for Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities, Priyanca Radhakrishnan, shared many insightful comments including reflections from their own experiences. 

Key considerations for public servants are - 

• Superdiversity is important beyond physical attribute based diversity
• It’s critical for organisations to reflect the diverse composition of the populations they serve
