Public Sector Reform - What This Means for New Professionals
IPANZ New Professionals hosted an event on Monday 19th September on Public Sector Reform. Attendees heard from Cassandra Favager, co-author of Deloitte’s 2022 State of the State report who spoke about the challenges of reform in 2022 and the keys to success such as breadth and depth incapability and joint collaboration.
The evening then held a panel discussion with Deborah Roche, Lead Governance, Partnerships & Risk at Te Whatu Ora and Grant Klinkum, Chief Executive of NZQA. Both panellists have been heavily involved in some of New Zealand’s largest reforms and spoke passionately about their experiences. The event was a fantastic evening of conversation and dialog on what New Professionals roles could be in the future of Reform.
