Opportunity to Debate reform of the State Sector Act

This has now reached capacity; please email comms@ipanz.org.nz to be waitlisted

We invite you to one of two sessions for a ‘free and frank’ debate about proposed reform of the State Sector Act. The IPANZ board is preparing a submission and seeks to canvass views from a cross section of members who have demonstrated interest in this important topic by attending presentations on September 4 (launch with Hon Chris Hipkins) and/or September 6 (panel discussion) and/or upcoming September 28 Free and Frank Advice.

Board member Richard Norman, of Victoria University of Wellington’s Management School will facilitate using the software Thinktank - to quickly canvass group views and identify areas of most and least agreement. Thinktank enables fast and anonymous brainstorming and voting on ideas developed by your group.

This is an opportunity to network across the public sector and contribute to the IPANZ submission on behalf of the profession of public service.

Each session will involve 90 minutes in total, with a combination of discussion and the recording and voting on ideas with help from the software.
