GOVIS Lunchtime Forum - A Chat with Vinton Cerf

Come along for an informal chat with one of the 'Fathers of the Internet'.

Vinton Cerf is Vice President and Chief Internet Evangelist for Google. He contributes to global policy development and continued spread of the Internet. In his early career, he worked for the the Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency and was the co-designer of the TCP/IP protocols and the architecture of the Internet. He has served in executive positions at MCI, the Corporation for National Research Initiatives, and on the faculty of Stanford University. His personal interests include fine wine, gourmet cooking and science fiction.

We'll kick off the forum by asking Vint some questions about his career and what's happening to the Internet. Then we'll throw it open for Q&A with the audience.

This forum is bought to you by Google and GOVIS. As usual, a light lunch will be provided.

If registrations exceed capacity for the venue, people who work for GOVIS member agencies will be given priority for places.
