IPANZ Annual General Meeting


Notice is hereby given of the 83rd Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Public Administration New Zealand (IPANZ).

Life members, fellows, members and friends are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting on Monday, 29 July 2019.


IPANZ is seeking nominations to join the IPANZ Board. IPANZ is looking for the following competencies: governance experience, ability to think strategically, passion for IPANZ's vision, time to commit to board and sub-committee meetings, demonstrated thought leadership and work experience in the public sector or researching the public sector.

The completed nomination form must be received by the Office Manager at no later than 2pm on Friday 19 July 2019.


5.15pm - Registration

5.30pm - Institute's Annual General Meeting

6.15pm - Guest Speaker, Dr Chris Eichbaum

7.15pm - Networking and light refreshments

8.00pm - Finish

The 2019 Public Service ‘Reset’ - tweak or transformation?

Cabinet is in the process of signing off on proposals that will see the repeal of the State Sector Act and the introduction of a Public Service Bill. Chris Eichbaum will explore the drivers of change and invite a conversation on how things might be different under a new statute.
