About our Speakers -

Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan

Priyanca Radhakrishnan is currently Minister for the Community and Voluntary Sector, Minister for Diversity, Inclusion and Ethnic Communities, Minister for Youth, and Associate Minister for Social Development and Employment. She is the first person of Indian origin to become a Minister in New Zealand. Priyanca has lived and worked overseas, and in Aotearoa New Zealand. She was born in India, went to school in Singapore, and then moved to New Zealand to further her education. She has a Master of Development Studies from Victoria University and chose to make Aotearoa her home.

Mai Chen

Mai Chen (LLB(Hons)(Otago)(First Class)), LLM (Harvard Law School) is the Managing Partner of award winning law firm Chen Palmer Public and Employment Law Specialists and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Auckland School of Law.. Mai sits on the BNZ Board of Directors. Mai was the inaugural Chair of NZ Global Women, and founded and is the inaugural chair of NZ Asian Leaders.

Thomas Pippos

Thomas was the recent CEO of Deloitte New Zealand for the past 10 years. He was a Partner at the firm for 25 years. Now he serves as the Chairman of the Deloitte New Zealand Board, along with being a Board member for Deloitte APAC. He was been a strong D&I advocate at Deloitte, and is a Champion for Change at Global Women.
