We identify, validate and champion innovative ideas and opportunities.
The role is part entrepreneur, part relationship manager, part coach, part champion. You will need to be visionary in terms of seeing the potential of an idea and exciting others about it, and pragmatic and focused about bringing that idea to life.
What we are looking for
People with passion for driving change and getting things done, and who are willing (and able) to commit to minimum of 8 hours per week to support IaaS outcomes.
The Working Group is a diverse team with a range of skills. You will be well networked, an influencer, a connector, a communicator and a doer with experience in some of the following areas: technology, human centred design and/or Agile/Lean approaches, have some cross agency experience or a ‘system of Government’ view, be commercially savvy, pragmatic, and looking for a step up/new challenges/inspiration/stretch and grow.
What’s on offer
While this is an unpaid, part time position, there are significant benefits on offer. Driving new innovation opportunities will expose you to some fascinating and stimulating thinking, people, businesses and technology.
The experience and insight you will gain will be invaluable in terms of personal growth and profile, and your network will grow to include entrepreneurs, innovation practitioners and enablers, as well as Government and business leaders.
There are also formal training and personal development opportunities on offer both as an individual and as part of the Working Group, including specific innovation, human centred design and lean/agile development training.
Applications close at 12 noon on Thursday the 24th of August 2017.
Please send a brief covering letter telling us why you want to be part of IaaS Working Group and a copy of your CV (all applications will be treated in confidence). Please also secure the support of your manager before applying.
Send to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Applications are open to all Government employees who meet the above criteria.
