The Institute of Public Administration New Zealand (IPANZ) is looking for a senior leader with a flair for business development, innovation and thought leadership and a passion for excellence in public sector management.
IPANZ is an incorporated society with corporate and individual members across the public sector, NGOs and related business sectors.
IPANZ's role is to contribute to a high performing public sector through generating new ideas; provide opportunities for members to debate emerging issues of public policy and management; celebrating and promoting the value of the public sector; and delivering services of value to our members.

We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a newly created Executive Director position. The role will be part time but the IPANZ board is flexible about how the role is shaped to best fit your leadership strengths.You are likely to have had a career as a senior public servant and are looking for your next challenge. This part-time role may suit your portfolio of work or your wish to work flexibly.
You will lead a small capable team and engage with a wide range of members and stakeholders across the public, NGO and business sectors.
You will be commercially savvy. The Board expects you to grow the size, impact and influence of IPANZ.
