IPANZ Seeks a New Executive Director

Our current Executive Director, Shenagh Gleisner is stepping back after three exceptional years in the inaugural role, and we are looking for someone to continue the great mahi she has been leading.  We have been in a period of growth, and we would like to continue to grow the size, impact, and influence of IPANZ.

We want a senior leader with a flair for business development, innovation and thought leadership and a passion for excellence in public sector management to join our small but capable team and engage with a wide range of stakeholders across the public (including local government), NGO and business sectors to meet our strategic goals.

You will be responsible for and deliver:

  • Programme and content design
  • Strategic intelligence
  • Relationship management across the sector, with our key partners and our extremely experienced Board
  • Facilitation of ideas from a variety of thought leaders

Key areas of current focus for us include systems leadership, Crown Māori relations, free and frank advice, partnering and power sharing, building in resilience and diversity and inclusion – with the emphasis on inclusion.
