Deloitte State of the State – Exploring the capabilities to navigate uncertainty

The challenges that lay before us as a nation, a government and a people are uncharted and uncertain. Faced with climate change, chronic inequities, global economic and political change, alongside ever-changing social, technological, political and economic megatrends, New Zealand cannot plot a steady course through the chaos.

The Deloitte New Zealand State of the State report, ‘Into the wind: capabilities to navigate uncertainty’ explores the strategic capabilities required for Aotearoa to face global megatrends and secure a positive future for the country.

Deloitte and IPANZ would like to invite you to an interactive panel discussion between Carolyn Tremain, Chief Executive at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Adithi Pandit, Partner, Strategy and Business Design at Deloitte on 27 February, facilitated by IPANZ President, Liz MacPherson.

Deloitte and IPANZ have assembled a panel to explore the set of strategic capabilities for the public sector, private sector, citizens, and communities to adopt and discuss the unique task that the public sector has as a ‘steward’ for our most critical systems – social welfare, education, health, and infrastructure. There will be an opportunity to ask the panellists and report authors questions.
